Here are three new REOs (bank-owned homes) now on the market:
The first home was one of the original model homes and therefore boasts the commensurate goodies: killer south-facing views of the Rees Jones course and in-your-face views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The largest of the six floorplans, this Finana model boasta a hefty 5116sf of living space, with 4B/4b, and custom touches both inside and out. Four years ago this month of May, builder prices on this model started at $2,050M! This gorgeous home is now priced at $1.792M ($350/sf).

The next home, an Almeria model, features the optional 277sf detached guest suite, boosting the living space to 3041sf in a very open, livable floorplan. A sumptuous master bath is just one of the highlights of this south-facing home just a few doors down the street from the models. Pictures don’t show the beautiful pool and spa with swim-up bar. Priced at $1.149M ($378/sf)
The final REO is a Duquesa model, the fourth largest floorplan at 3889sf. From the split four-car garage and enclosed entryway to the huge greatroom with gourmet kitchen and two-room guest casita, this lavishly appointed home is impressive. With a southwestern orientation on .44 acre, the home commands panoramic mountain and course views. Priced at $1.173m ($301/sf), this home was once builder-priced from $1.7M.
The distinctive theme of Andalusia at Coral Mountain coalesced during scouting trips the principal planners made to southern Spain while designing La Quinta’s newest luxury community. The group explored Andalusia to get a visceral feel for the unique Moorish influences on Spanish architecture, culture and lifestyle throughout the Iberian Peninsula. The resulting development debuted in 2006 and is redolent with fountains, courtyards, spiral columns, hand-painted stone mosaics, archways, towers, keyhole entryways, wrought iron, brick-lined corridors, and a surfeit of ceramic tile. Expense was not spared in recreating the master-planned community of 700 homes on 1000 prime acres nestled along the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains. One such example is the 14-foot-tall bronze Andalusian horse and rider stationed near the clubhouse, inspired by that region’s horse-breeding history and a perfect accent for the desert’s own equestrian-rich history.
Andalusia Country Club offers six 3- and 4-bedroom floorplans, approximately 2,900 to 5,000 square feet. All models are characterized by open great rooms, entry courtyards, and 12’ sliding glass doors opening up to spacious covered patios and spectacular golf-course views. Current new-home pricing is $1M to $2M. Resales are commensurate.
The first of two planned golf courses was designed by Rees Jones—designated number two of the top five course architects in the world by Golf Digest Magazine—his very first in the Coachella Valley. Extensive use of water features—45 acres of water alone—punctuate the 7,521-yard course that is designed for every level of golfer.
Other community amenities include a world-class Racquet Club & Fitness Center, clubhouse with Tapas restaurant, and walking/biking/hiking trails
Andalusia Country Club was designed by Drummond Real Estate, who is also responsible for Rancho La Quinta Country Club.
